About Longevity Escapes
Longevity Escapes is part of Sandra Diegues Ltd, a private company with limited liability established and existing under the laws of England and Wales, having its registered office in London, UK, at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 9JQ, and registered with the Chamber of Commerce in London.
You are bound by the host own booking, amendment, cancellation conditions and conditions of carriage where relevant and these conditions apply to your contract with Longevity Escapes and the Host (hotel or group retreat organiser). Conditions vary by host and are given at the time of booking.
In order to secure a holiday with Longevity Escapes, a non-refundable deposit is requested. Deposits are never lost. If a cancellation is requested at any time, deposits can be re-used to secure another holiday with Longevity Escapes within 12 months.
Once a booking confirmation is made, details of payment conditions are sent in order to settle the remaining balance of booking. This is important to ensure booking goes ahead and to avoid any unwanted cancellation.
Upon arrival and as part of the hotel policy, your card details might be requested at reception and subject to bank approval. This is done to ensure any additional services are paid at the time of check-out.
The remaining balance of a reservation is due prior to arrival date on the day set by the Host. If the balance is not paid on time, Longevity escapes reserve the right to cancel the holiday and apply the deposit cancellation charge. To put guests at ease, Longevity Escapes will send a friendly payment reminder email before the payment deadline.
Any cancellation must be notified to Longevity Escapes by writing as soon as possible.
No refunds will be given for curtailments, no-show or cancellations on or after the holiday start date.
Passports, visas and health requirements
It is the responsibility of all guests, regardless of the passport they hold, to check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are required. As foreign visas and health requirements are subject to change without notice, it is recommended that verification prior to travel be done in order to comply with all holiday requirements.
Hosts will have no liability to any guest travelling without the correct passport or visa or health requirement and any costs incurred to the host through assisting you will have to be paid by the guest.
Circumstances beyond the Host’s control
No compensation of any kind of responsibility can be taken if due to a circumstance beyond the host’s control, the host has to change a holiday after departure, or the host cannot supply a holiday in full or in part as agreed. A circumstance beyond a Host’s control is one that cannot be foreseen or avoided; even after taking all due care and includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes and bad weather situations or forecasts.
Travel Information: COVID-19 / 12 JUNE 2020
Due to the current situation, most Hosts have amended their Prepayment and Cancellation policies in order to provide a more flexible and relaxed booking. Please note that this will be applicable until October 31st 2020.
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect you against potential trip delays or cancellations due to airline issues, family emergencies, illness, injury, etc. If buying an insurance we highly recommend that the travel insurance covers the activity of the holiday, unexpected cancellations, sickness, losses and all the usual risks. All Hosts reserve the right to change or amend prices at any time before a booking has been placed. After a holiday quote proposal and a holiday availability confirmation have been sent, the price and spot is guaranteed for 24 hours to allow you to proceed with payment. Once a booking is confirmed the Host will not apply any surcharges or price changes unless you make the change to your arrangements after booking or unless previously specified.
Changes after booking but before travel
No refunds are given as a result of an amendment to a booking. We recommend to check booking details carefully to ensure that any independently booked related flight, and/or other arrangements coincide with the dates booked with the Host and all names have the correct spelling as the Host will not be liable for any costs incurred as a result of any mistakes by the guest.
Changes before and after travel
The Host reserves the right to change or substitute any service and to decline, to accept or retain any holiday or trip members at any time for any reason including, without limitation, any unforeseen circumstances.
No refunds are available once a holiday has commenced, or in respect of any other holiday or trips or services booked or utilised.
Please note all activity duration times given are approximate and itineraries are given for a guide only and are subject to minor changes depending on the needs of the group, weather conditions and other circumstances.
